SYM-01
The build stalled after the demo
It worked in a pilot and never crossed into daily operations.
Complete · repair · integrate · stabilize
Proceptra completes, repairs, integrates and stabilizes AI systems and workflow automation that stalled, half-shipped, or stopped producing the result it was bought for. Proceptra gets stalled AI systems and workflow automations into reliable production — connecting the tools, handling the exceptions, and restoring the business outcome the initiative was meant to deliver.

Where the work lands
What was built, what it was meant to do, what the gap actually is.
Systems you already own, connected so the work moves without a person carrying it.
Exception handling, alerting, runbooks, and a handover that holds.
When to bring us in
If two or more describe your situation, the problem is usually architecture and ownership — not the platform.
SYM-01
It worked in a pilot and never crossed into daily operations.
SYM-02
Records go missing and nobody finds out until a customer does.
SYM-03
Automation covers the happy path; people absorb everything else.
SYM-04
It runs, changes are risky, and the person who built it is gone.
SYM-05
The model produces something. Nothing downstream depends on it yet.
SYM-06
Every platform is fine in isolation and the handoffs are manual.
None of these are a failure of effort. They are what happens when implementation stops at the demo and nobody owns the last thirty percent — the integration, the exceptions, and the documentation.
What we actually do
Each one has a defined boundary. None of them is open-ended.
Where it starts
A structured read of the system as built and the gap to the outcome it was bought for. You leave with the findings as a sequenced plan: the opportunities worth executing, in order, with the reasoning.
Paid · fixed fee · from $995
Execute on findings
The plan, executed one bounded sprint at a time — finish what is half-built, replace what cannot be recovered, integrate the rest, and make it survive a normal week. Each sprint has its own outcome and acceptance criteria; most plans take more than one.
Fixed scope · fixed window
The relationship
A named senior owner on the systems that matter — monitoring, exception triage, controlled change, and a standing eye on the next opportunity worth executing. Some clients begin here; the assessment becomes month one.

Delivery sequence
Read the system as built, not as described.
Outcome, acceptance criteria, sequence.
Implementation, hands on keys.
Connect it to the operating process.
Monitoring, runbook, acceptance, handover.
Representative work
Systems in production, described by what they do and where they broke.
Starting condition
Four lead sources entered by hand. Follow-up happened after hours, when it happened.
Business risk
The first credible response wins the conversation. Every hour of delay was lost pipeline.
Approach
Normalize intake, score, value, hand off to voice and SMS, and route everything the automation cannot close to a named human queue.
Result
Response time moved from hours to minutes with no manual entry. Exceptions became visible instead of invisible.
Target-state diagram. Four external lead sources feed a normalization step, then an AI scoring and valuation step, then the CRM which is the source of truth. Anything the automation cannot close is routed to a human exception queue. A failure path retries three times before alerting a named owner.

Architected, built, and operate an AI-enabled operating platform that runs a real business end to end — automated workflows, integrated communications, and a purpose-built data model, in production daily.
Convex · React · Twilio
Diagnosed API, hosting, authentication, and production-reliability failures affecting a customer-facing calculation workflow, then implemented the controls needed to make failures observable and recoverable.
HubSpot API · Node
Directed cross-functional technology delivery and portfolio health oversight across approximately 500 annual projects, intervening when implementations faced delivery, architecture, vendor, or operational risk.

Who does the work
“Senior delivery judgment applied directly to the work — not handed off after the sale.”
Proceptra is founder-led. Doug Dostal scopes the work, does the implementation, and stays accountable for it in production. Specialist support is brought in when a problem genuinely calls for it — never as a layer between you and the person building your system.
Involvement
Direct implementation, not oversight of a delivery team you never meet.
Breadth
Platform-agnostic across CRM, automation, telephony and AI services.
